The New SkyPro 750 Line Coming Soon to Crowd Control Company

At Crowd Control Company, we are dedicated to developing high specification products with unique user benefits that provide a solution to specific market requirements. In this article we introduce our latest new upcoming development, the SkyPro750.

Ultra Length Barriers

Restricting access to work areas or creating customer queues on a very large scale poses unique challenges. Setting up very large safety barriers or queue systems is time-consuming and labor intensive. Not only do these projects carry significant labor cost but also substantial equipment costs in the large number of barriers required. It is to provide a more efficient, lower cost solution for large barrier requirements that we developed for our market leading SkyPro 1500. With a 150’ of retracting belt on a highly portable wheeled base the SkyPro has quickly established itself as the market leader in ultra length barriers systems. Customer feedback showed us that there is a need for a version of the SkyPro with intermediate belt lengths and so we have developed the new SkyPro 750 model available with 55’ and 75’ belt lengths.

SkyPro 750 Features

The SkyPro 750 uses the well proven chassis from its big brother the 1500. Weighing in at close to 75lbs the 750’s heavy base and large 6” diameter post are designed to give the stability and strength needed for ultra long belt deployment. Mobility is smooth and easy, simply tilt the unit onto its wheels using the built-in handle. The weight of this unit ensures stability outdoors even in windy conditions. The SkyPro 750 is available from stock in two colors, black and yellow but can be customized with any of our 200 powder coat colors. Belts for the SkyPro can be selected from our range of 50+ stock belt colors, including high visibility stripes and a range of safety messages. The SkyPro’s belt can be ordered with a standard belt end to attach to another SkyPro or a wall receiver clip, a magnetic belt end or an s-clip belt end that allows the belt to be wrapped around a fixed object and clipped back onto itself.

Single Or Twin Belt Modelse

One of the major feedback points we received about our SkyPro 1500 model was the desire to add additional an belt lower on the post. While available across our range of shorter length barriers the twin belt configuration posed significant design challenges in these very long length units. We are collaborating closely with our engineers to prototype and develop the optimal solution. By adjusting the post design and integrating the belt directly into it, we are developing a solution that is not only effective but has a sleek appearance as well. The twin belt design provides a better barrier by restricting pedestrians from ducking under the belt.is lower belt. We expect the SkyPro Twin 750 to be available with the coming weeks.

Fixed and Removable Mounting

After addressing one of the initial feedback points, we shifted our focus to enhancing the capabilities and options offered for the SkyPro line of products. This led to a project developing fixed and removable mounting options. This decision stemmed from customer feedback that while most users require the portable wheeled base there is a significant requirement for permanent and semi- permanent installations. The fixed base will be a flange fitted to the bottom of the post replacing the wheeled base. This flange has screw holes so the post can be bolted to the ground. The removable base is a 2” diameter insert bolted to the post bottom that can slide in and out of a socket set into the ground. These alternative base options will allow customers to permanently sight the barriers and we expect these options to be available on the same time scale as the twin belt model.

With the upcoming addition of these models to the SkyPro range, our goal is to revolutionize how you manage your large scale crowd control solutions. While developing these products, we undergo a rigorous process to identify, prototype, and produce the highest quality product with the most customization options available on the market.
